Roleplay Guideline. (How not to be ignored or called a Special Snowflake!)

This is a helpful little guide on how not to get called out as a special snowflake or otherwise ignored and mocked in a Roleplay environment.

1. Don't copy abilities of major players (ie the Lich King, Lady Darkrunner, Prince Anduin)
2. Don't play a fancy race (Such as high elves) If you do not know the lore inside and out.
3. Don't connect your character through family connections to major players. (Aka you are not the child of the missing princess Menithil. You were not the child of Deathwing or any other aspect, you are not Arthas's secret kid he had with Jaina!)
4. Do not claim to be an important figure (ie leader of a made up kingdom. Just.. dont.)
5. Loopholes. If you know the lore (Like someone I won't name.. *cough* Sheikaris and Loki! *cough*) then use the loopholes to your advantage.
6. Ripping off someone else's original idea is still bad. I don't care if you are a noob or not, don't pull that crap.
7. Never, and I mean never, insult your guild master or officer via guild chat. If you are having a fight, you keep that shit in whispers otherwise you are showing that you are a capitol A douche bag and will get severally scorned and burned for it.
8. Alphas. There are people that are High Class Alphas. These are people who are protective of the guild they are a part of, and if you show any disrespect or otherwise scheming, they will be the first ones down your throat. (I would know! I am one of them and I will fuck your shit up.)
9. I don't care what you say. Psionist or otherwords known as mind control is bullshit. A. You character would not have the will let alone the magics to fucking do it. B. The only reason The Dark Lady and The Lich King could do it was because they were working with UNDEAD. Dead. Deceased. People who died and therefor their spirits were not connected enough to their bodies to be able to control themselves! So shut the fuck up! I don't care about your arguement, there is no case in Lore where an average everyday priest or warlock were able to dominate a living persons mind.
10. I don't care what you say! You cannot be a dragon aspect, let alone a dragon of a fucking made up flight. Yes, you can RP a dragon, if you know how to. No, going around and telling EVERYONE that you are a dragon is bad and you will be seriously mocked and laughed at and never taken seriously. Just stop.
11. When observing someone during a tryout scenario, it is often frowned upon and flat out rude when, during the question time, you are asked to ask questions and instead tell the candidates that all their answers are incorrect. Bitch you fucking wanna tryout? Should of tried out yourself. Stuff a cookie in it.
12. Hypnotism. How does it work? I can tell you it cannot place an idea into someones head so powerful that they would act on it irrationally enough to A. Be caught, and B. do stupid shit like attack an army by yourself. Seriously guys? Are you idiots.
13. Stop trying to be king of the spotlight. That bullshit gets you hated on.

Roleplay for Noobs

A list of ways on how to Roleplay correctly. This is for noobs and people who are just plain bad.

1. Never Godmod. Godmod is not taking any damage and overall not letting anything bad happen to your characters. Pretty much being god (as name would suggest.), this also includes controlling other peoples' characters without their permission.
2. Never Mary Sue. Mary Sue is when your character shows no flaws or is "Perfect" In concept. 
3. Never Meta-Game. This is when you take knowledge OOCly (Out of Character) and use it ICly (In character.)
4. MRP (MyRoleplay) is your friend. It will help you keep track of so many things. Such as eye color, height, age, appearance, Full Name, Titles, History, etc.
5. If you are unsure how to react during a combat situation.. Use rolls (1-20).
6. Romances take time, inform someone Out of character that you wish to have a courtship with their character then work things out to ensure there is no issue. Do NOT assume that because their character appears free that you can call dibs on being in a relationship with them. (That just leads to drama!)
7. When there is drama, remember: This is IC, don't get pissy OOC. If it gets transferred OOC then sit down and discuss it with the person. If further problems persist, speak to an officer or guild leader. If the issue continues, just put the person on /ignore.
8. If you are feeling left out, or you just don't know what is going on. Ask someone! I am sure people will willingly tell you what you want. You don't have to throw a fit or be left out. We are a community!
9. Sometimes, people suck. There will be assholes. Again, just use the /ignore. Or just don't respond to them. 
10. Outfits. This is gonna sound very girly, but multiple outfits are key. You do not see people in full suites of armor showing up to a wedding or dance. Likewise you don't see someone in skankily dressed attire (Black Mageweave) at a funeral. Dress for the occasion!
11. Personality. Everyone has a personality. Develop your character to have a personality and make them seem real.
12. Description. You don't need to write a paragraph to tell someone what you are doing. Just some simple descriptions would help like. Roman sat in his chair, pulling a book from his bag and began to read. Is better then, Roman, the Great and Powerful, Tier-13 paladin thinks for a long moment before walking to the otherside of the room with loud steps as his armor rattled. He sat his tush upon a wooden chair. Oh that wooden chair! Before reaching a hand in his backpack and scrounging around for a time before pulling out a book called "Fellowship of the Ring!" and began to read. Oh how amazing this book must be that he was reading! Seriously guys, it's annoying. Cut that crap out.
13. DM (Dungeon Master). To do this, you must first

• Set up a time and day. Make sure it's on the Calender so everyone knows about it!
• Do -NOT- make yourself the center of attention. As a DM if you want a character there, then that character should just be a background character, like someone who is fighting to help. Don't be the villain or super hero.
• Communicate. If you can't communicate with people, you are going to have a bad time.
• (Optional) Make/Give out Loot.

Reputations for Crystal Arc

Throughout the Arc, everyone will encounter good and bad. The question is what side others will pick. There are factions within this and there are quite a few. The list you will find here.
